Full Description

This is a notice of intent to issue a contract for construction services required to deliver and install an automated biodiesel tank cleaning system for the 10,000 gallon medical center biodiesel fuel system. The contractor shall be responsible for a turnkey job to include, locating below grade utilities to ensure no damage during installation. The fuel cleaning system shall maintain the 10,000 gallon storage tank free of algae and other contaminants on a continuing basis using magnetic conditioning with a flow rate of not less than 10 GPM. The system shall be stand alone and include leak detection and alarm features. The contractor shall provide a concrete slab with reinforcement fabric to facilitate system mounting. This acquisition will be a total small business set-aside. This acquisition is estimated to range from $25,000 to $100,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price construction contract with completion of all work required 60 days from contract award.
