The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the Upper Yazoo Projects, Item 6B, Channel Improvement, located in Leflore and Tallahatchie Counties, MS. Principal features of work include mobilization and demobilization, clearing for channel excavation, channel excavation, disposal areas, disposal of excavated materials, clearing and grubbing, corrugated metal pipes, stone ditch outlet protection, erosion control, bank stabilization work, excavation for st ructures, two reinforced concrete drainage structures with concrete pressure pipes and flap gates, one reinforced concrete drainage structure with concrete pressure pipe and manually operated slide gate, one concrete box culvert drainage structure with ele ctrically operated slide gate, two erosion control structures, granular surfacing, reconstructing sections of paved road, pervious fill and backfill, random fill and backfill, dewatering, control of water, cofferdam construction, providing as-built drawing s, storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection.
