The Lexington VA Healthcare System has a requirement for a contractor to provide construction services for Project # 596A4-24-101, Replace Main Electrical Distribution Equipment in accordance with the Statement of Work, Project Specifications and Drawings.
Work includes general construction, alterations, electrical, mechanical, site utility, and necessary removal of existing equipment and construction and certain other items. The contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures and equipment, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Project 596A4-24-101 Replace Main Electrical Distribution Equipment as required by drawings and specifications. NAICS Code 236220 is applicable to this requirement. The Small Business size standard is $45M.
The estimate range of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00
This requirement will be procured by way of FAR Part 15, as a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process. The evaluation factors and sub-factors under consideration for this requirement will be available upon the solicitation release, which is anticipated to be on or by June 16, 2026.
This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C §8127 (d).
