The City of Phoenix is seeking sealed proposals to establish a youth crime prevention program aimed at reducing juvenile offenses in the neighborhoods of Maryvale, South Phoenix, Alhambra, and Central City. The contract, expected to last three years starting around January 1, 2026, will be awarded upon approval by the City Council and recording by the City Clerk, with the effective date contingent upon these approvals. The program is part of the city's broader efforts to address youth-related crime issues through targeted intervention strategies, with the contract size estimated between $500,000 and $2,000,000. Interested vendors can access the solicitation through the City’s Procurement Portal and should seek technical support via the OpenGov e-Procurement Portal or contact the designated procurement officer, Nancy Harrison, for further assistance. The contract emphasizes compliance with city procurement procedures, including the requirement that work not commence until official purchase orders or contract documentation are issued. The agreement will terminate either at the end of the specified term, including any extensions, or earlier if provisions for termination are met. The contract is governed by the NAICS code 624190, which pertains to other individual and family services, aligning with the program’s focus on youth and community safety. The documentation indicates that once the offer is accepted and the contract is signed, the contractor is legally bound to deliver the services as outlined, with all contractual obligations formalized through city approval and filing procedures.
