Z -- Garnet Area Panel Excavation

The USDA Forest Service is seeking a contractor for the Garnet Area Panel Excavation project located in the St. Joe Ranger District of Latah County, Idaho. The scope of work involves the clearing and construction of a panel access road, along with the excavation, hauling, and stockpiling of topsoil, sub-layer material, and garnet bearing gravels. The contractor is responsible for replacing the gravels with borrow material and restoring the sub-layer and topsoil to their original positions. Additionally, the project requires the implementation of erosion control measures, such as straw bales and silt fences, and the provision of hourly excavator time for unforeseen tasks as directed by the Contracting Officer. The selected contractor must provide all necessary labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, and supplies to complete the project. The estimated cost for this work is under 25,000 dollars. Interested parties are notified that a pre-bid tour will be scheduled to review the site requirements.
