PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR INSTALL CLOSED LOOP DOOR OPERATOR THIS PROJECT IS SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 has a requirement for "Install Closed Loop Door Operator" at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, 3200 Vine St., Cincinnati, OH 45220-2213. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, insurance, supervision and any other items required to complete the "Install Closed Loop Door Operator" project at the VA Medical Center (VAMC), 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220-2213. This construction project will include the replacement of the existing door operators and the installation of a new door clutch and door hangers and headers. All work shall be conducted in complete accordance with project statement of work. All work shall be closely coordinated with the VA Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Duration of the project should not exceed 60 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: This solicitation will be issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The small business must be small under the relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code 238290 and MUST be registered and verified in the System for Awards Management (www.sam.gov) and to be eligible for award. Offerors MUST ensure registration is accurate, complete and have not expired prior to proposal due date and time. Project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code is 238290 (Other Building Equipment Contractors) and the business size standard is $15 million. SITE VISIT: a one-time only site visit will be scheduled and that information will be in the solicitation package. The solicitation documents will be posted at www.fbo.gov on or about August 5, 2016, with proposals due approximately 30 days later. Dissemination of the solicitation, specifications and drawings is limited to electronic medium. All interested Offerors (primes & subcontractors) should register at www.fbo.gov so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement and for automatic receipt of updates or amendments. An Offeror's mailing list / Bidder's list WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer, as it is the Offerors responsibility to register at the www.fbo.gov website. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at www.fbo.gov. Paper copies of the amendment WILL NOT be individually mailed.
