The VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System is soliciting Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business vendors for a Firm-Fixed Price Contract with a performance period of 60 days after receipt of contract award to provide the following medical gas tracing/mapping/labeling services at the Omaha and Grand Island VA Medical Centers: The contractor will furnish all labor, parts, transportation, supervision, dust carts, and materials necessary to perform a complete, hand by hand tracing of the existing medical gas piping systems at both Omaha and Grand Island VA Hospitals. The Omaha system consists of approximately 43 zone valves, 15 area alarms, and 234 oxygen, 186 medical air, 395 vacuum, 7 waste anesthesia gas, and 7 nitrous oxide outlets spread over nine floors of a 15-floor building. The Grand Island system consists of approximately 8 zone valves, 4 area alarms, and 66 oxygen, and 63 medical air outlets spread of six floor building. The trace will cover all lines, riser lines, and service lines, will include all valves, monitor/alarms, pumps and zone valves from the source to the outlets.
