The three-story roof has a level concrete roof deck, a parapet wall all around the roof area, and a roofed elevator shaft that extends above the three-story roof level. There is a rather extensive amount of HVAC ductwork that runs above the roof surface with vertical members extending through the roof to interior spaces below. Also, there are roof drains, overflow roof drains, HVAC roof mounted equipment, a metal screen wall that blocks the view of some of the roof mounted equipment, exhaust fan, vents through roof, a roof hatch, etc. Modified bitumen roof systems over roof insulation board exists. Roof slopes and warps are provided by tapered roof insulation. The work includes removing modified bitumen roofing systems, insulation board, wood blocking, flashing systems, and providing new wood blocking, roof insulation board, roof insulation cover board, fully adhered EPDM roofing systems, flashing systems, metal coping systems, and incidental related work.
