Z2NZ--659-24-203: Extend Chilled Water to Hospice and Audiology
Contract Overview
Solicitation details, issuing organization, response deadlines, documents, and interested companies for this government contract opportunity.
AI Contract Overview
The contract requires the extension of chilled water service from Building 31’s primary chiller plant to serve Buildings 42 and 43, effectively bypassing their existing chillers during normal operations. During standard operation, Buildings 42 and 43 will receive all chilled water directly from Building 31, with their local chillers isolated and rendered inactive. All associated valves and actuators must be integrated into the Building Management System for automated control and seamless mode transitions. In bypass mode, local chillers in each building will activate to provide chilled water to specific areas: in Building 42, the existing chiller will supply the 2-inch line serving Audiology, and in Building 43, the existing chiller will serve the 3-inch line for the entire building, with glycol levels maintained via pot feeders. New work includes installing additional pumps in Building 42 to support the 2-inch chilled-water line to Audiology, ensuring adequate flow and pressure during both normal and bypass operations. This project is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 238220, managed by the Department of Veterans Affairs through the 246-NETWORK Contracting Office 6, with performance located in Salisbury, North Carolina.
