All primary emergency, maintenance and administrative radio communications are broadcast using Zion’s West Temple repeater. This project will replace an eight foot by ten foot aging West Temple repeater shelter (April 2004) and radio equipment (early 1980’s) with a modern, self-contained, prefabricated metal radio repeater shelter. The concrete pad upon which the existing shelter now rests will be reused as a proper landing zone for helicopter operations.
