Chanel Bennett serves as a procurement professional within the Public Buildings Service’s Northern region, supporting the mission to maintain, modernize, and secure federal facilities through strategic acquisition of critical infrastructure services. Focused on facilities operations and capital improvements, she manages the full lifecycle of contracting actions for building systems, with particular emphasis on electrical installation and wiring projects. Her work ensures federal buildings meet safety, efficiency, and resilience standards, aligning with the Public Buildings Service’s mandate to deliver mission-critical environments for government operations. She specializes in acquisitions that support facility modernization, code compliance, and energy efficiency upgrades, ensuring installations meet federal building standards and sustainability goals. Her domain knowledge spans commercial and institutional electrical systems, with a focus on retrofitting aging federal infrastructure to current technical and safety benchmarks.
