Jennifer Esworthy

Jennifer Esworthy serves as the IST Chief, where she provides leadership and oversight for information systems and technology acquisitions. In this capacity, she is responsible for managing the procurement mission related to the agency's technical infrastructure and the acquisition of critical hardware and software assets. The majority of the agency's procurement activity is conducted through full and open competitions, with a strong preference for non-set-aside contracts. While the agency maintains a commitment to small business participation, the vast majority of awards are not restricted, with a smaller percentage of requirements directed toward Total Small Business Set-Asides, 8(a) Sole Source awards, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Her procurement focus is heavily concentrated on the manufacturing and acquisition of computer hardware and electronic components. This includes a primary specialization in computer storage device manufacturing and computer terminal and peripheral equipment. Additionally, her technical domain expertise extends to electronic computer manufacturing, the production of magnetic and optical media, and telephone apparatus manufacturing.
