The Veterans Health Administration Network Contracting Office 16 intends to award a single-source, firm-fixed-price service contract to Abiomed for the maintenance and repair of two Impella Cardiac Circulatory Support System Heart Pump Controllers located at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. The contract covers a five-year period of performance from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2029, consisting of a base year and four option years. The contractor is responsible for providing all tools, materials, shipping charges, and travel expenses, as well as reviewing operating system software diagnostics to ensure manufacturer specifications are met.
