Michael J Dudte

Michael John Dudte serves as a Contracting Officer responsible for managing complex acquisitions across commercial and industrial equipment, building services, and logistics support. In this role, he ensures compliance with federal procurement regulations while advancing mission-critical needs through transparent, competitive processes. His portfolio primarily encompasses procurement of HVAC systems, industrial ventilation equipment, residential remodeling services, building finishing work, and specialized packing and crating solutions. Dudte operates with a strong emphasis on full and open competition, consistently favoring non-set-aside solicitations to maximize market participation and value. While no specific contractor relationships are currently identifiable in the data, Dudte’s acquisition patterns suggest routine engagement with manufacturers of commercial and industrial HVAC and air purification systems, as well as licensed contractors specializing in residential and commercial building finishes. He works with a broad base of vendors, from large-scale equipment manufacturers to regional specialty contractors, ensuring competitive bidding and technical adequacy across all solicitations. His procurement approach prioritizes performance-based requirements and clear statement of work development to mitigate risk and ensure deliverables align with operational needs. Dudte’s contracting activity reflects a strong preference for non-set-aside procurements, with 100% of his awards issued under full and open competition. This indicates a deliberate strategy to leverage the full breadth of the market rather than targeting specific socioeconomic categories such as 8(a), HUBZone, or SDVOSB programs. While small business participation is not formally prioritized through set-asides, his reliance on competitive bidding inherently supports diverse vendor engagement across all sizes and capabilities. His technical expertise centers on NAICS 333415 (HVAC and refrigeration equipment manufacturing), 236118 (residential remodelers), 238390 (building finishing contractors), 333413 (industrial fan and blower manufacturing), and 488991 (packing and crating). These domains reflect a focus on infrastructure support, environmental control systems, and logistics readiness, requiring deep familiarity with technical specifications, performance standards, and supply chain logistics in commercial and institutional settings.
