This contract involves providing Contingency Satellite Services to support FEMA's Disaster Emergency Communications Division and Incident Management Assistance Team within the Response Directorate. The services are designed to enable rapid and reliable communication during disaster response and recovery operations by utilizing existing government satellite terminal equipment. Additionally, the services must facilitate connectivity to commercial internet and offer optional public telephone service, with the capability for terminal-to-terminal communications independent of the Public Switched Telephone Network for secure "out-of-band" operations.
