1. Purchase of Asphalt Roller, Walk-Behind, 22” Inch

Sarasota County is soliciting bids for the purchase of a single new 22-inch walk-behind vibratory asphalt roller under Quick Quote 2026-QQ-722, with a hard ceiling of $50,000 on total contract value. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose quotation complies fully with all technical specifications and submission requirements, following a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation process. The equipment must be delivered FOB destination to 8781 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL 34233, within ten days of Purchase Order approval, and must include a water spraying system, vibration-dampened height-adjustable steering rod, front and rear scrapers, automatic low-oil shutdown, safety controls, and backup drive protection. Products must be new, of the most current model, free from defects, and meet all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Florida Statutes §287.135 and §448.095, with a minimum one-year warranty. All bids must include delivery charges in the total price, and the County will not pay freight or express charges. Bidders must submit a signed W-9 form and complete the vendor questionnaire electronically via the OpenGov portal by the May 26, 2026 deadline; no submissions via email or mail are accepted. The vendor must certify compliance with Florida’s prohibition on participating in boycotts of Israel, Cuba, or Syria, and must be E-Verify compliant.
