The Naval Sea Systems Command plans to award a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems for the procurement of Structurally Integrated Enclosures (SIE) and Architecture related to the VIRGINIA Submarine Class Combat Control system. This contract covers shipsets 6 through 10 for Combat Control and architecture shipsets 7 through 10. The scope includes engineering services for the development, production, and support of the Electronic Workstation (EWS), along with associated spares, repair parts, technology refresh and insertion kits, and related hardware. Additionally, the contract encompasses system engineering, integration of combat system improvements, and ongoing support activities such as installation, field integration, repair, and refurbishment related to the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems.
