Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.106-1(b)- Soliciting From A Single Source and FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Kentucky Air National Guard Special Tactics Squadron, 1101 Grade lane Louisville, KY 40213 has a requirement to procure the following items: Line Item 0001: Custom Military Vigil Parachute Automatic Activation Devices (CUSOTME 07), 54 EA Line Item 0002: Custom Military Vigil Parachute Automatic Activation Devices (CUSOTME 09), 16 EA Line Item 0002: Shipping to 1101 Grade Lane Louisville, KY 40213 or Location of Installation Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, quote mark Only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, sole source contract to Vigil America. Vigil America has the proprietary rights to and are the sole provider and distributor of the equipment. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423910 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Vigil America, 1400 Flightline BLVD Suite C, Deland FL, 32724-2106 is the sole supplier for the Vigil Parachute Automatic Activation Devices systems. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 08:00 AM Eastern Time, Thursday, September 26th, 2013. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
