CNIC-1/ MAXIMO 5 700 Division in B513 (eastern most side of the building) does not have AC for its spaces. This lack of AC is both a safety and a morale issue as temperatures climb within these spaces to black flag levels during the summer. We would like to investigate and if feasible install three overhead chillwater AC units in the workspaces. The main work space is approx. 8,000 sq ft according to drawings and would be serviced by 2 units. The side space is approximately 4,000 sq ft (rough est) and would be serviced by 1 unit for a total of 3 units. We think these would be serviced with chillwater from the chillwater plant located just behind the 700 division area. Pictures of the chillwater plant are included. According to the HVAC tech it appears that that chill water plant is operating at roughly half capacity.
