Notice to Bidders and Newspaper Advertisement The State University of New York at Buffalo will receive sealed bids for project number 2026-195 titled Student Union Replace Auditorium Lighting and Theatrical Control System until 2:00PM local time on Thursday October 22, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. All bid packages MUST be submitted via email to: UB-Compliance@buffalo.edu Email shall include “Project # 2026-195 Student Union Aud” and “Contractor name” in Subject line. NO BIDS SHOULD BE HAND DELIVERED OR DELIVERED THROUGH ANY DELIVERY SERVICE OR COMMON CARRIER. ONLY ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The University assumes no responsibility for any Proposal that is not delivered into its aforesaid email address by 2:00 PM local time. All work on this Contract is to be completed by January 24, 2027, starting on or after the University’s Notice to Proceed is received which shall be forwarded to the Contractor(s) upon approval of the contract of the New York State Comptroller. All interested parties should assemble at Student Union Lobby (North Campus). Failure to participate in the walk-through inspection will not be grounds for extra compensation due to field conditions encountered on this project. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
