209079 UWMC ML 4NN/4EE - Acute Care Expansion - Request For Qualifications (RFQ)

The University of Washington is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Architectural/Engineering firms to provide design services for the UW Medical Center, Montlake, 4NN/4EE Acute Care Expansion project. The University intends to utilize the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) contracting method for this project, as authorized under RCW 39.10. Project Description: This project will renovate the 4th floor of the Pacific Tower at the University of Washington Medical Center Montlake campus to create approximately 24 additional medical/surgical acute patient care beds/bays. The North and East wings of the 4th floor of the Pacific Tower encompass 18,500 square feet. The wings were originally designed and constructed as patient care space but were later converted to administrative use. Due to space constraints on the medical campus, UWMC plans to convert these areas back to support acute care capacity.
