IMPACT: The purpose of the survey, was to assess the exterior wall siding and paint condition of the building, to identify and determine the nature of maintenance work needed to be performed. Based from the assessment, it was determined that the building is due for an exterior siding (section) replacement due to severe rust condition and painting of the entire exterior wall of the facility to include associated appurtenances. The maintenance work, will improve the building’s exterior integrity in concurrence with NAVFAC and NAVSEA PHD’s Building standards. 5. DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: a. Remove 2,000 SF of rusted section of the exterior siding on the NW side of the facility. b. Install new 2,000 SF of aluminum exterior section siding on the NW side of the facility. c.
