The City of Boynton Beach is seeking the services of a qualified consulting engineering team to assist with the design of a new stormwater system for a neighborhood improvement project, and to improve the level of service (LOS) within the Chapel Hill area. The new stormwater system will consist of the installation of conveyance pipe through the area, directing runoff to a new stormwater pump station and consequently discharging to the E-4 Canal. The areas where is not feasible to have conveyance pipes, exfiltration trenches may be installed to alleviate flooding. The project will also have roadway restoration, trench restoration, sidewalks restoration, driveways restoration, and swale restoration within the right-of-way.The City is seeking the services of a qualified consulting team to design a new stormwater system to improve stormwater management in the Chapel Hill area.The Offeror(s) shall act as an independent Consultant and not as an employee of the City.Pursuant to the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (“CCNA”), a certified minority business enterprise is defined in accordance with the Florida Small and Minority Business Assistance Act. Pursuant to the Florida Small and Minority Business Assistance Act, a certified minority business enterprise is an entity that has been certified by the Florida Department of Management Services, Office of Supplier Diversity (“OSD”).
