Full Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with Schottel Inc citing FAR part 6 subpart 6.302-1. To the best of the Government's knowledge, there are not any other firms in the area that can satisfy this requirement. The work to be done under this contract consists of supplying various parts for the Dredge Hurley's Z-drive propulsion system to meet the Government's requirements. Award of this contract will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, however interested firms may submit a capability statement in response to the above requirement with cost/price information by April 15, 2013 @ 1:00 PM CST to Amy Starks, Contract Specialist, Phone: +1 (555) 000-0000, Fax: +1 (555) 000-0000, Email: contact@example.gov.
