The Federal Correctional Institution, Safford, Arizona intends to issue solicitation RFQP06091500007 for the 2nd Quarter, FY 2015 Kosher requirement. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business under NAICS 311999. The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed price type contract from this solicitation. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s), whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on best value. Pricing will be FOB destination. Delivery required within 30 days of order or may be subject to cancellation and awarded to the vendor that provided the next lowest quote. The solicitation will be available on or about November 25, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed. All future information regarding this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The Government may make awards without discussions; therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.sam.gov. Payments will be made using Government Purchase Card or EFT. Each offeror, in accordance with FAR 52.212-3, is required to complete the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (ORCA) provided in the solicitation provisions or on-line at www.sam.gov
