THERE'S A SOLICITATION AMENDMENT DOCUMENT ATTACHED POST ON 2024-01-08 = the Solicitation Closes on 2024-01-17 instead of 2024-01-10 (see amendment document attached) 3 amphibious vehicles (with an option to purchase up to 5 additional units within 12 months) For the purchase and delivery of (3) three 8x8 amphibious vehicle) for the RCMP, Sherbrooke Detachment, Beauce Detachment and Valleyfield Detachment. ( in option to purchase up to (5) five more amphibious vehicles within) These vehicles will be used for divisional needs on operational deployments and for patrolling the Canada-U.S. border. A significant portion of the territory patrolled by RCMP officers is covered with ponds, making many areas inaccessible by all-terrain vehicle. Only an amphibious vehicle could get there without the risk of getting bogged down. The Contractor must supply and deliver three (3) new amphibious vehicles, 2023 model or the most recent model offered by the manufacturer, in accordance with the performance specifications set out below.
