3168 Seawall Stabilization (Lake Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. LAK-61435-R2)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has authorized Russell Porterfield to replace a 75-foot failing seawall at 3168 Elizabeth Drive in Lakeport, California, under Lake Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. LAK-61435-R2, issued pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code. The new seawall will be constructed approximately three feet lakeward of the existing structure and will consist of 13 steel pilings, each eight inches in diameter and spaced six feet apart, with vinyl sheet panels installed between them. To mitigate collapse risks during construction, a portion of the existing soil backfill will be removed using heavy equipment, followed by backfilling with approximately 83 cubic yards of light drain rock.
