Special Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 8, located in St. Petersburg, Florida intends to negotiate a sole source contract with SkyBase Communications, 1706-D NE Capital Circle, Tallahassee, Florida 32308 for the purchase of SkyBase G2 MSAT equipment custom built. The anticipated contract will be for a Firm Fixed-Price, one-time purchase. The government plans to solicit and make an award for this requirement to only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253 (1). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. No Solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office within 1 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
