Full Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Department of Veterans' Affairs, James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital (JAHVH) located in Tampa, FL intends to solicit and negotiate a contract for Audio Sound Booths with Acoustical Inc. on a sole source basis. Statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-(a)(2)(iii). The equipment shall include: Audio Sound Booth IAC 140ACT-2, Single Wall, Control Double Wall Exam Room, Exam inside Dimensions L7'-0" x W8'-4" x H 6'-6, Control inside Dimensions L 5'-0" x W 8'-4" x H 7'-9", Total Outside Dimensions L9'-0" x W16'-0"x H 8'-4". This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any interest party, other than Acoustical Inc., that feels they can satisfy this requirement must identify their interest, experience, and capability to satisfy the requirement no later than 12:00pm (noon) September 27, 2010. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in future acquisitions. The determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
