This proposed procurement action is for a VNG/ENG System for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 603.2. The VA believes that GN Hearing Care Corporation is the only company that can provide the VNG/ENG System. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 2 days from the date of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements for VNG/ENG System. Information may be faxed to the Contracting Office at +1 (555) 000-0000. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VA Medical Center will proceed with the sole source negotiation with GN Hearing Care Corporation.
