The VA NY/NJ Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN3) plans to negotiate a sole source contract with the General Electric Company for the purchase of eleven Trophon EPR Transducer High Level Disinfection Systems, which are compatible with the current systems installed at several VA medical centers within the VISN3 region. These units, along with all necessary accessories, are intended for use at multiple locations including NY Harbor (Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses), New Jersey Healthcare System, Northport Medical Center, Bronx/John J Peters Medical Center, and Hudson Valley Healthcare System. The procurement will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 due to the uniqueness of the product and the lack of alternative suppliers meeting the agency’s requirements. This notice is an indication of intent to sole source and is not an invitation for competitive proposals, as no solicitation documents will be issued. Other vendors believing they can fulfill the requirements may submit capability statements and pricing information within six calendar days from the notice date, demonstrating clear and convincing evidence of their ability to meet the needs. All responses must be submitted by email to the designated contracting officer by the established deadline, with no telephone inquiries accepted. The government reserves the right to use the information provided to determine whether to proceed with a competitive procurement but is under no obligation to award a contract or reimburse any costs related to submissions.
