The U.S. Army Medical Command's Western Regional Contracting Office plans to award a sole source contract valued at $114,336 to Blood Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside, doing business as LifeStream, for supplying various blood and blood products. This contract includes a base period plus two option years and is intended to support patient care needs at Weed Army Community Hospital located at Fort Irwin, California. Due to the remote location of the hospital, LifeStream is uniquely positioned to meet the delivery and service requirements essential for providing timely and reliable blood products to patients.
