The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Biosense Webster, INC, at the Durham VA Medical Center (VAMC). Justification for this limited source procurement is in accordance with RFO FAR 8 soliciting from a single source. The contractor shall provide Biosense Webster electrophysiology consumables on an as needed basis throughout the period of performance. Purchases will be initiated via individual delivery orders under the IDIQ contract. Consumables covered under this SOW may include, but are not limited to: Diagnostic EP catheters Ablation catheters (e.g., irrigated, contact force enabled) Mapping catheters compatible with CARTO systems Sheaths and introducers Patches, cables, and other single-use EP procedure accessories Any other clinically required consumable items specific to Biosense Webster systems used in DURVAMC procedures This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet these requirements and possesses relevant past experience, expertise and is an authorized distributor for Biosense Webster may give written notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
