The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to RC Consolidated Services Inc., a Small Disadvantaged Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) verified by the SBA, for the acquisition of a Qoustic Wound Therapy System. This specialized medical device, identified under NAICS code 334510, is an advanced, mobile unit designed for outpatient wound treatment. The system, which includes the QOUSTIC Series D System Generator and related components such as qoustic qurettes, a reposable tool, and wrench systems, offers both contact and non-contact wound therapy capabilities. Its unique mobility and versatility in treating various wound types make it a distinct replacement and enhancement over the current wound therapy equipment used by the facility. Due to these specific features and the lack of alternative supplies that meet the agency's needs, the procurement is being conducted under a single-source authority in accordance with federal regulations. The contract will serve the Department of Veterans Affairs Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, with an anticipated award date of March 10, 2023. Notices related to this procurement are intended to publicize the proposed contract action, not to solicit competitive bids, and any information submitted by potential suppliers will be used solely to gauge market availability for future procurements without compensation. The contracting office responsible for this acquisition is the 260-NETWORK Contract Office 20 based in Vancouver, Washington, with Maureen Sundstrom serving as the Contract Specialist and primary point of contact. This procurement represents a targeted and strategic effort to upgrade the medical center's wound care capabilities with a uniquely suited technology from a single verified source.
