This contract is needed to provide reagents, consumables, and a service maintenance contract for two automated ALCOR iSED Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate testing analyzers at VA Portland Health Care System Hematology section in Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service. A new five-year reagent and service contract, effective 7/15/2026, is needed to ensure continuity of service with current equipment.


The iSED ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) is a fully automated ESR testing system. There are no disposables and uses a primary barcoded lavender EDTA tube which are currently being used for other testing in our laboratory. The supplies required to operate the analyzers are quality control material, a wash solution, thermal printer paper rolls, and test cards.
