The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a sole source basis the following items from Livermore Software Technology Corporation, 7374 Las Positas Road, Livermore, CA 94554-5110, CLIN 0001, a quantity of forty-eight (48), 48 CPU Annual LS-DYNA License with LS-PrePost, LS-OP/t and CLIN 0002, a quantity of one (1), Annual USA Professional License. Both CLIN 0001 and CLIN 0002 annual licenses are to include software upgrades, manuals electronically with permission to copy, and technical support. The government reserves the right to add new licenses to the site license for the duration of the order. Livermore Software Technology Corporation is the only source able to provide this software support licensing as the software is proprietary. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 541511 and the small business size is $21 million. The order shall be a firm fixed price purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS THE ITEM IS IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. FOB destination shall apply. All interested parties must meet the required period of performance of 1 October 2009 thru 30 September 2010.
