Full Description

The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate a sole-source award under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii) with GE Grid Solutions to purchase a quantity of nineteen (19) G500 Substation Gateway Units with embedded Human Machine Interface. The delivery date is anticipated to be 30 business days after award. The GE Grid Solutions G500 unit has been identified as a direct replacement for Reclamation's current D20ME units. The G500 has a proprietary communication protocol that works with Reclamation's existing GE RTU I/O boards and GE has been identified as the sole source for the G500 units. Any firm that believes it could fulfill the Government need described herein must submit a capability statement to Lisa Hilton at contact@example.gov by close of business 9/11/2020 for consideration. However, the Contracting Officer reserves the right to make the final decision on source selection in the best interest of the Government.
