The Bureau of the Public Debt is planning to acquire software maintenance and support services exclusively from ClientSoft Inc. for their Clientbuilder Teamwork products, which include support for 10 developers and 1000 runtimes. This sole-source procurement is contingent upon final approval, given that ClientSoft is the only provider capable of maintaining and supporting this specific software, as no resellers offer these services. The software is considered a high priority for ClientSoft, which further justifies the sole-source approach. Interested parties are invited to submit affirmative responses demonstrating their ability to provide the required maintenance and support with terms more favorable to the government. Such responses must include sufficient documentation to prove capability and advantages over ClientSoft’s offering, and must be received by 2:00 p.m. EST on July 29, 2003. Requests for additional information or a solicitation copy will not be treated as affirmative responses. Should no qualifying responses be received, the award will be made solely to ClientSoft Inc.
