This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source due to a unique capability provided, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. Only the Parata Company offers the service and support of this product as they are the sole manufacturer and support provider. The solution cannot be changed out as it is an embedded part of the business processes of Fox Army Health Center and our parent Command, the US ARMY MEDCOM, requires this product to be used. The product is a specific calibrated and interfaced system to the Military Health Record AHLTA as chosen by the Pharmacy Consultant of the Office of the Surgeon General at Ft. Sam Houston Texas. All questions are to be submitted to CPT Jose Gamboa at contact@example.gov. This posting closes for questions at 0400 CST 25 SEP 14.
