The HQ Operations and Sustainment Systems Group (HQ OSSG) plans to award a sole source contract to SanSoft, Inc., located in Brentwood, Tennessee, for the maintenance and technical support of the HQ OSSG VUPORT software. This contract will grant the Air Force the rights to receive all updates, enhancements, and modifications to the licensed software provided by SanSoft, ensuring continued functionality and improvements. Additionally, technical support will be available to end-user developers via a dedicated support line. The contract is intended as a firm fixed-price agreement for one year and is considered a commercial item under federal regulations, thereby following FAR Part 12 procurement procedures. The sole source nature of the contract is justified by the proprietary copyrights and data owned by SanSoft, which no other provider can fully replicate to meet the Air Force’s requirements. While the Air Force is not soliciting competitive bids for this action, it invites other interested parties to express interest or submit proposals within specified deadlines, with all proposals received within 45 days from the notice’s publication date being considered. The contract’s classification falls under the NAICS code 541511, with a revenue threshold of $21 million. Interested businesses must indicate their size status and ownership type in their response and can communicate with the designated contracting officers via mail, fax, or email for further information.
