Full Description

Under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(2), it is the intent of the Government to award a sole source procurement to Federal Solutions, LLC., Sheboygan WI, for a quantity of 221 seat cover pieces. The replacement seat covers in this order are to replace existing seat covers that are on Nemschoff product. Only Nemschoff is able to provide the replacement seat covers since they must be custom made for the existing seating model, match other existing furniture, match new product being procured simultaneously, and maintain the Nemschoff lifetime warranty. The requirement is for Guthrie Health Clinic, Ft Drum NY. Product must be delivered and installed by 28 February 2012. This is not a formal solicitation, nor is this synopsis considered a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but will be used to determine if a comparable source or offerors are available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative response is received, the procurement will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A detailed capabilities statement must be submitted electronically to John C. Kirkwood at contact@example.gov by 8:00 am Central Standard Time (CST) on 26 Sep 2011.
