Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Porch House Pictures LLC, which proposes filming at the Caltrans Maintenance Equipment Training Center (META Yard), located at 5200 W. Imperial Hwy, Los Angeles, under Interstate 105 at Post Mile 2.01. This production involves exterior dialogue, exterior models against scenery, driving shots, and drive-up and drive-away scenes. Motorcycles will be used as picture vehicles for both static shots and driving scenes. Water-based atmospheric smoke effects reaching heights of 1520 feet will be used.
