Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Charter Communications to access an existing pole and place a new riser, vault, and bore pothole to place a new vault and trench to stub out in Caltrans right-of-way on State Route (SR) 66 at postmile 3.168, as well as perform temporary traffic control activities in the City of Pomona, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 48 inches, an average width of 2 inches, and a maximum length of 18 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
