The purpose of the RFI Amendment is to notify all interested parties of VA s intended acquisition approach based on the results of market research.
Based on the results of market research, VA intends to release a combined synopsis/solicitation to the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) Contract Opportunities website as a brand name or equal Hill-Rom Nurse Call System requirement, and thereafter to award a firm-fixed price purchase order. If solicited, the requirement will be 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).
The contemplated requirement is for brand name or equal Hill-Rom Voalte nurse call system with code blue communication system, including equipment, staging services, cable installation services, termination/testing/labeling of cables, device installation, and warranty. The brand name or equal Hill-Rom Voalte nurse call system shall be capable of integrating with existing Hill-Rom hospital beds without the use of middleware to capture all the required bed data as well as other patient/room data and provide that information in a visual dashboard accessed via the workstations located at the nurse stations.
