Agency/Office Defense Logistics Agency Location: Defense Energy Support Center The Defense Energy Support Center intends to issue an 8(A) Reservation Solicitation SP0600-08-R-0221 on or about October 3, 2008 for the following multi-year (3 years) requirements: Fuel Oil Burner #2 (FS2) 373,200 gallons, Gasohol, REG UNL (GUR) 5,537,156 gallons, Red-Dyed ULSD #2 Grade (DSS) 169,246 gallons, TX Low Emission Dyed ULSD 1,600,000, and Summer ULSD (DS2) 1,774,860 gallons. Contracts awarded as a result of this solicitation will be a Requirements type contract, Fixed Priced with Economic Price Adjustment. All invited responsible 8(A) sources are requested to submit offers. DESC anticipates conducting negotiations with Offerors submitting proposals under the subject solicitation SP600-08-R-0221, but reserves the right to make contract award(s) based on initial offers submitted. For your benefit DESC will be hosting three (3) Pre-proposal Conferences on the following dates and locations: Minneapolis MN Monday, October 20, 2008 Houston TX Wednesday, October 22, 2008 Denver CO Friday, October 24, 2008 Please attempt to attend one of the conferences closest to your preferred area of support. Specifics regarding hotel location will be provided in the solicitation and in follow-up notifications.
