The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to make a single award for the provision of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages in the five (5) gallon and three (3) gallon box. The performance period will begin October 1, 2007, and will conclude on September 30, 2008. An estimated quantity of our requirements delivered on a weekly basis include 12 cases of carbonated Cola, 3 cases of carbonated Diet Cola, 5 cases carbonated Diet Clear Soda (Mountain Dew or equal), 3 cases of carbonated Clear soda (Sierra Mist or equal), 10 cases of carbonated Root Beer, 5 cases of non-carbonated Lemonade, 5 cases of non-carbonated Fruit Punch, 3 cases of non-carbonated Raspberry Tea, and 2 cases of non-carbonated Unsweetened Tea. Additionally, we require a 200 lb capacity ice dispenser, 3 fountain dispensers with 8 heads including a water dispenser on each, and C02 tanks all to be maintained by the vendor. Deliveries will be made to the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri, 65807. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price related factors only. The contractor shall adhere to the delivery schedule established in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about August 20, 2007, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about September 3, 2007. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
