Full Description

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Jackson, South Carolina, intends to issue a firm fixed price, sole source award to Crescent Moon Caf , 5411 Lessburg Rd., Eastover, SC 29044-9184 for McCrady Dining Facility. Line Item Description 0001 Support of Army IRR Personnel 0002 Support of Naval Personnel This procurement is being conducted under FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). To solicit from another source would cause unacceptable disruption to food service operations. A delay in services or intermediate change of contractor will disrupt critical mission operations and cause the Government to incur significant costs. It is more advantageous to the Government to continue the contract services with CMC, Crescent Moon Caf for one (1) base year. The anticipated award date is January 1, 2014. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 722310 and the size standard is 35.5M. All responsible sources may submit a response. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued. Interested firms may identify their interest in writing to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on November 13, 2012.
