SERVICES Bulk Fuel Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Modification Number W564KV-12-T-0046-0002 Location: Riga, Latvia Period of Performance: 2 June 2012 through 24 June 2012 Contract type changed from Firm Fixed Price to Firm Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment In an effort to balance the risk of fluctuating fuel costs. With this change, the offeror will be able to submit a bid based on the current wholesale diesel fuel prices. If the market conditions change and fuel prices increase prior to June 2, the offeror will be able to request an economic price adjustment from the contracting officer in accordance with the FAR clause 52.216-2. The contracting officer will make a determination about the reasonableness of the request. At the time that your offer is submitted, you should identify which price index you are using as your reference to determine price fluctuation. Bulk Fuel Services - The Contractor shall provide Bulk delivery of Diesel fuel to support U.S. Forces at the Adazi Training Area near Riga, Latvia. The fuel will be delivered to a US military 5000 gallon tanker trailer (max capacity18,900 liters). This service will provide fuel for non-tactical vehicles, military vehicles, and generators. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, transportation, quality control and supervision deliver this commodity. The total amount of fuel needed is 33,700 liters. Interested contractors are invited to read the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) SEE ATTACHMENT. The contractor shall 1) Print out the RFQ attached. 2) Print price quotes next to the corresponding CLIN. 3) Return the quote pages to the Contacts listed on the RFQ.
