The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition of Surveillance Data Translator (SDT) equipment and associated peripheral equipment components used in support of the Airport Surveillance Radar-11 (ASR-11) Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) System. The SDT equipment and associated peripheral equipment components are a critical part of the ASR-11 and is the primary interface between the Air Traffic Control (ATC) display equipment and the ASR-11. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with Sensis Corporation, East Syracuse, New York, in accordance with Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, Single Source Selection. The FAA conducted a market survey (reference posting ID: 5658) May 3 through May 24, 2007, and the results of this survey support our determination to solicit and negotiate with only one firm.
