99--Kevlin Rotary Couplers

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition of three (3) each FPS Mode-S rotary couplers (P/N 1818, NSN: 5985-01-394-3850), with the option to procure two (2) each Beacon Only Mode-S rotary couplers (P/N 1443, NSN: 5985-01-394-3849), originally manufactured by Kevlin Corporation. These rotary couplers are installed on FPS Mode-S Antenna Systems and on Beacon Only antenna systems throughout the National Airspace Systems. The two Beacon Only Rotary Couplers will be used to support the installation of new Air Traffic Control Beacon systems. The FAA does not have specifications or drawings. Contractor must have access to the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) specifications and drawings. Potential sources must provide documentation to the FAA showing proof for rights to use the data from the OEM. Statements that data will be obtained or that specifications or drawings will be developed are not acceptable. Only those responses providing the required documentation in response to this market survey will be considered prior to further action by the FAA.
